This practical training course is designed for food delivery drivers and transport handlers to ensure hygienic and professional food handling throughout the delivery process.

Delivery staff are a critical link in the food safety chain. From personal hygiene to equipment cleanliness and proper food handling, every step matters. This course provides the essential knowledge and tools to deliver food safely, uphold your company’s reputation, and protect customer health.

The training includes a visual flyer-based session and a safety checklist that can be used daily to reinforce best practices.

Course Delivery & Location

Delivered by experienced trainers under the KEZAD framework. Training is available on-site across KEZAD and throughout the UAE.

Course Content Overview

1. Personal Hygiene Standards
• Wash hands before and after every delivery
• Wear clean and appropriate clothing
• Maintain trimmed, clean nails
• Avoid touching your face or food containers with bare hands
2. Clean Delivery Equipment
• Sanitize delivery boxes or containers daily
• Use only clean, undamaged equipment
• Regularly check cleanliness of vehicle interiors and compartments
3. Food Temperature Control
• Keep cold food below 5°C and hot food above 60°C
• Never mix hot and cold items in the same container
• Use insulated bags or thermal containers for safe transport
4. Safe Package Handling
• Handle food packages gently to avoid damage
• Never open food containers
• Immediately report damaged or leaking packages
5. Professional Conduct on Delivery
• Be respectful and courteous with customers
• Do not leave food in unsanitary or unsecured areas
• Follow delivery timing and hygiene protocols diligently
